Ruth Roberts first wrote plays on love and adventure as a child and performed them on her front porch with her sisters and neighborhood friends. She published a limerick and short story in high school in one of those little periodicals that sold one copy per author’s family. Since then she has written and published articles and books on diabetes, science and technology and written a popular diabetes website for twenty years. Her first novel fictionalized a rhetorical trip to China where she asked inappropriate questions. Now she is working on The Level and The Square, a novel about growing up in Kentucky, asking more inappropriate questions.
